The Buffalo Bills are fresh off another notch in the win column.
All week, topics and storylines have been discussed ahead of this AFC East clash. In the end, regardless of what is said by players, coaches, media outlets and fans, it always comes down to what unfolds on the field in the NFL.
And once it’s game time, there will be a few particular things to look out for.
With that, here are five things to watch for during the Bills (6-2) versus the Miami Dolphins (2-7) clash in Week 10:
Can pass attack keep rolling?
The Bills had a successful passing game in their win last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. We’ve seen more consistent play from Buffalo’s aerial attack in recent seasons as opposed to 2025 but there were positive signs versus the Chiefs.
It can still improve as the outside passing game is still dull… but can the Bills build on Week 9?
Don’t let up
The Bills have that momentum built from last week, they need to keep that going. Not only for their own good, but the Dolphins have little to play for with their record, combined with the firings and selling Miami just saw go down in recent days.
Don’t make this a “trap” game, Bills.
Put the trade deadline in the past
While most in the Bills locker room will not admit it, they’ve heard the rumblings from Buffalo following the efforts at the 2025 NFL trade deadline. Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane failed to make a move.
With a convincing win right after the deadline, the Bills can silence any concerns about the trade deadline very quickly.
Fix the Week 3 defense
While that was a two-score win by the Bills in Week 3 earlier this season, it was a lot closer than it needed to be. Buffalo’s defense did not manage to slow down Miami’s rushing attack at all and the pass rush was brutal.
Those both need to improve this time around.
Allen against Miami
Bills quarterback Josh Allen simply saves some of his best football for the Dolphins. Allen only had 213 passing yards in their last matchup. However, he still completed 78 percent of his passes and had three touchdown throws.
Allen is just a different beast against Miami.
