The Tennessee Titans are off this week, their bye week coming at an opportune time in the season. The organization has faced adversity at every turn in 2025, leading to player movement, staffing changes, and a 1-8 record, among the worst in the league.
CBS Sports recently predicted each team’s second-half-of-the-season wins and losses, and where each team would land in its division at the end of the season. It’s no surprise that the Titans are predicted to finish at the bottom of the AFC South, or that they’re only projected to win one more game this season (New Orleans Saints). Here’s what the article says about the Titans:
Last week’s one-possession loss to the Chargers is evidence that the Titans are still fighting amid a forgettable season. Like Jeanty in Las Vegas, it’ll be interesting to see how much No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward progresses during the final weeks of his rookie season.
The outlook for the remainder of the 2025 season isn’t great for the Titans, but it is extremely positive that they aren’t giving up. This team, despite losing, comes out every week and looks like they are putting forth as much effort as they can. And, honestly, there’s not much more we can ask from the players at this point.
The Titans’ organization has to figure out where the hangup is with this team. It sounds like there could be more changes coming for the staff, but it seems like a systemic problem, not a specific person clogging the pipe. We’ll see how Amy Adams Strunk handles things over the next few days.
