The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without a number of important names on Sunday against New England, a list which includes RB Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder), WR Chris Godwin (fibula), and OLB Haason Reddick (ankle/knee).
The team did announce some good news on Saturday, however. The Bucs activated OT Luke Goedeke off of the injured reserve list in a trio of roster moves that included elevating LB Nick Jackson and OLB Mohamed Kamara from the practice squad.

Bucs activate Luke Goedeke off of injured reserve on Saturday, clearing his return for Sunday against New England
Goedeke had been dealing with a foot issue early in the season, and that issue took a turn for the worse in Week 2. The Bucs’ starting right tackle exited the game with a big limp and did not return during Tampa Bay’s 20-19 win over the Houston Texans.
Goedeke ended up going on injured reserve days later, and he was one of two starting offensive linemen to suffer a major injury during the game. RG Cody Mauch suffered a torn ACL and was placed on season-ending injured reserve shortly thereafter.

The return of Goedeke should provide a strong boost to a group that needs it. Tampa Bay’s offensive line has had its fair share of issues, particularly in the running game, where the Bucs have eclipsed the 100-yard mark just once since Irving’s last game against Philadelphia back in September.
The Bucs and Patriots get underway at 1:00 pm ET from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
