The Tennessee Titans are on their bye week in Week 10 of the NFL season, with the team off on Nov. 9.
Tennessee (1-8) has struggled all season with consistency and complimentary football. The Titans got closest to all three phases last week in the loss to the Chargers, with a special teams and defensive touchdown contributing to what was a one-score margin. But the Titans offense failed to score a touchdown for the third time in nine games.
Cam Ward said after the Chargers game that he didn’t need the reset of a bye week in what has been a trying rookie season.
But maybe a weekend off and away from the field will give he and the Titans offense a chance for a reset, especially with the trade deadline in the rear-view mirror.
The Titans are off in Week 10, with the midseason bye week ahead of the final eight weeks of the regular season.
Tennessee, at 1-8, returns to the field on Nov. 16, hosting the Houston Texans.
