The New England Patriots officially released their 2025 NFL schedule on Wednesday.
They are slated to face the NFC South this year, which means they have scheduled run-ins with the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers. It should set the stage for some favorable matchups on the schedule for New England.
Granted, things could get tougher against their AFC North opponents, including the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. The path in the AFC East will still be a difficult one as well with the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins in the division.
Buffalo is a perennial playoff contender with the reigning NFL MVP, Josh Allen, at quarterback. The two matchups the Patriots play against the Bills could be the greatest measuring stick of where they are as a football team.
