For months we’ve known who the Seattle Seahawks would be playing in 2025… and now we know when these games will take place. The 2025 NFL schedule has been released and all the fun of circling games and making predictions are well underway.

When the schedule gets released fans check two things right away. First, they find out when their bye week will occur. Second, they find out how many prime time games their team is slated to have. As it stands, the 12th Man will get to watch their favorite team under the bright lights a few times this year.

The Seattle Seahawks are slated to play in four prime time games in the 2025 NFL season.

The four prime time games matches the total Seattle had in 2024, which also included two showdowns on Thursday Night Football. The Seahawks getting two TNF games against NFC West foes makes sense, especially considering they are among the few teams in the league that will participate in the new Nike “rivalries” series. I suspect in Week 4 we’ll see the Cardinals’ new rivalries alternate uniform, and Week 16 will be the Seahawks’ debut.

Interestingly, the game against the Minnesota Vikings is not in prime time. There was a three-year stretch from 2018-2020 where the Seahawks’ home game against the Vikings was always nationally televised. I thought for certain the rematch between Sam Darnold and his former team would have warranted a similar treatment. There is always the possibility it could get flexed into prime time, but that feels unlikely.

The SNF game in Week 13 is Broncos at Commanders, and the league will want to feature two young rising star quarterbacks. The MNF game will be Patriots vs Giants. That is the weaker of the two games for certain, but again, it could be another game between young quarterbacks if Jaxson Dart is starting for New York. Besides, the league will want to keep the most popular team from their biggest market in prime time.
