The New York Giants continued their search for kicking stability Tuesday, signing undrafted rookie Ben Sauls to their practice squad amid growing concerns over veteran Graham Gano’s availability, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Sauls worked out for the Giants last week.

A 24-year-old Ohio native and Pittsburgh product, Sauls brings college pedigree: A 2022 Sun Bowl hero with five field goals, including a 47-yard game-winner, plus 2024 Third Team All-ACC honors and a Lou Groza semifinalist nod.

After stints on the Steelers’ and Falcons’ practice squad — waived by Atlanta on November 4 — Sauls remained a free agent until joining the Giants.

The addition of Sauls to the practice squad comes after Gano disclosed a herniated disc in his neck pressing on his spinal cord, which sidelined him for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. He was replaced by veteran Younghoe Koo, who was elevated from the reserve unit.

The Giants also have Jude McAtamney on the practice squad, but he has no elevations remaining. Koo has two remaining.
