Following the Jaguars’ loss to Houston, where does Jacksonville sit in the Week 11 NFL playoff standings?
After a devastating loss to the Houston Texans, the Jacksonville Jaguars now find themselves at 5-4 on the season.
So now heading into Week 11, where do the Jaguars currently sit in the AFC playoff standings?
Well, the good news is that despite Sunday’s loss, the Jaguars are still on the inside of that playoff picture. With a 5-4 record, Jacksonville remains the seventh seed.
They are just one game back of the 6-3 Bills for the sixth seed and 1.5 games back of the 7-3 Chargers for the fifth seed, who are the Jaguars’ opponent this week.
But lurking behind the Jaguars and looking to take their playoff spot at the Chiefs, who are also 5-4. Jacksonville holds the head-to-head tie-breaker over them.
With the Texans’ win, Houston is now 4-5, just one game behind Jacksonville. The Ravens are now 4-5 on the year as well.
In the AFC South race, the Colts widened their division lead with a win this past Sunday to improve to 8-2.
According to NFL.com, the Jaguars’ playoff probability sits at just 40% at the moment — a season low.
