The Tennessee Titans had a bye in Week 10, giving the team a week of rest and recovery. This week, they’ll host the Houston Texans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, at 12:00 p.m. CDT this Sunday.
It’s the second meeting between the division rivals this season, with the Texans soundly defeating the Titans 26-0 in Week 4. Under interim head coach Mike McCoy, the Titans look like they might be figuring out how to be successful, but it’s still painstakingly slow.
As we enter Week 11, here’s a look at where the Titans place in a multitude of power rankings.

Aside from the bye week, they won’t leave Nashville at all in November. Of course, the league’s lowest-scoring team has yet to post more than 20 points at Nissan Stadium.
The Titans’ next best chance to win a game might be Dec. 28 when they host the Saints. Maybe they pull off an upset or beat the Browns in Cleveland, but it seems hard to believe they won’t be picking first in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Titans have had a rough go of 2025, but we noted last week that they were taking small steps towards competence. Now it’s time to put that theory to the test.
If Tennessee realy does have its shit together, then at a minimum it should be able to beat the Browns and Saints in December. If quarterback Cam Ward can withstand pressure and execute close games, then toppling San Francisco and Jacksonville is also possible. If Ward is the potential star I thought hhe could be coming into the draft, then maybe he can even give the Texans a scare this week. The next two months will set the stage for how we talk about the Titans going into the offseason.
The Titans had a week without a loss as part of Tennessee’s Week 10 bye. Wins will remain scarce in the second half, with the only goal being seeing steady progress from QB Cam Ward ahead of hiring him a new coach.
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: 32 (NC)
They had a bye this past week. That’s a win. Plus, the first overall pick now seems like it will be theirs.
I don’t have a ton to add on the state of the Titans right now, but I do encourage you to become as enraptured in these videos of daily life in the coldest city on Earth as I am.
Let’s hear it for another old(er) guy! Ward is in Year 10. He’s played for seven teams, including three in the last three seasons. And he, like every other Titan, is in a bad situation right now. Still, Ward has 3.5 sacks and 12 quarterback hits, putting him on pace to easily set new career highs.

Mercifully, a bye week.
The Titans somehow covered their second or third spread of the year, depending on which line you had in Week 1. In their two definitive covers, they’ve been able to benefit from inexplicable nonsense.
NFL Nation, ESPN: 32 (NC)
If it wasn’t for injury, Jeffery Simmons would be the easy pick. Other than Simmons, Dike has been the biggest source of excitement this season. The rookie is a threat to score whenever he fields a punt or kick. The thrill that comes from special teams is a complete change from the previous decade. Dike is the Titans’ best bet to make the Pro Bowl and be named an All-Pro. He’s leading the NFL in return yards off of kickoffs and punts (1,303). He has started to come on as of late as a receiver as well, highlighted by his 38-yard touchdown reception against the Patriots.
