The San Francisco 49ers are coming off of a tough 42-26 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium, and now, they’ll hit the road in Week 11 for another NFC West battle, this time against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium.
San Francisco is getting slightly healthier, but they’re still awaiting the returns of quarterback Brock Purdy, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. While Purdy and Pearsall could return this week, Aiyuk is still a ways away from suiting up for a game or even practicing with the team.
Heading into this important divisional matchup in Week 11, San Francisco is currently a 2.5-point favorite. The over/under for the contest is 48.5 points, and the 49ers are -150 ($150 bet wins $100) on the money line.
Arizona has been tough to watch this year, starting off their campaign with a 3-6 record that included a five-game losing streak that started with their first matchup with the 49ers back in September. With Jacoby Brissett leading their offense, the Cardinals need others to step up if they hope to keep this season from being an embarrassment.
San Francisco took the first meeting between these two teams 16-15, but that was Mac Jones’ second start for the 49ers. He seems to have real confidence in himself and the offense now, but to win on Sunday, Robert Saleh’s defense, which is without Fred Warner, Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams for the season, needs to bring their best.
