Indianapolis Colts’ running back Jonathan Taylor has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, after tallying 286 scrimmage yards in the Colts‘ 31-25 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.
The sixth-year running back racked up a season-high 244 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 32 carries, averaging 7.6 yards per attempt, and recorded 42 receiving yards on three receptions.
However, his dominant performance did not come as a shock, as he recorded his fifth three-touchdown game this season.

Taylor set an NFL international record in scrimmage and rushing yards, recorded the longest rush of the season (83 yards), and ran in the game-winning eight-yard touchdown.
Taylor continues to lead the league in rushing yards (1,139), rushing touchdowns (15), and rushing first downs (58). He also has the most rushing plays of 40+ yards in the league (4), and is tied for the most plays of 20+ rushing yards with Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane (8).
“I’m telling (you), look, I’ll scream it from the mountaintops: He’s the MVP in my book,” said linebacker Zaire Franklin of Taylor, via Colts.com.
