(KMAland) — Former Woodbine star and the 2021 KMAland Male Athlete of the Year Layne Pryor has been signed to the Houston Texans practice squad.

Pryor, who is an assistant for the state finalist Tigers, was not in attendance for Wednesday’s semifinal due to the signing.

The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Pryor was an honorable mention Missouri Valley Football Conference tight end with the University of Northern Iowa.
