Atlanta has signed EDGE Khalid Kareem to the roster and added CB C.J. Henderson to the practice squad.
The Atlanta Falcons have made a few changes to their roster and practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons signed edge rusher Khalid Kareem to the 53-man roster and added cornerback C.J. Henderson to their 16-man practice squad.
Since Kareem was previously on the practice squad, Henderson is essentially taking his place. The veteran edge rusher has appeared in 30 games over the last five seasons, recording 34 tackles (17 solo), one sack and seven QB hits. Kareem played in two games for Atlanta in 2024.
Henderson, who was spotted at the team’s Thursday practice, previously spent time with the Falcons during training camp. The former top-10 draft pick later signed with Atlanta’s practice squad and now returns to help provide secondary depth.
Since entering the league in 2020, Henderson has appeared in 49 career games (32 starts), recording 172 tackles (139 solo), 16 passes defended, three interceptions and one sack. Check out the team’s updated 53-man roster and practice squad entering Week 11 below.
