What’s the key Jaguars-Chargers matchup?

Jaguars OT Walker Little vs. Chargers OLB Tuli Tuipulotu

Little has become one of the favorite scapegoats for the Jags’ offensive line woes and he will have a handful with the third-year player from USC, who was a second-round draft pick in 2023. Tuipulotu had his eighth sack of the season on Monday night against Pittsburgh, tied for fifth in the NFL.

The Jaguars’ offensive line allowed Trevor Lawrence to be sacked only three times in the first four games, but has since given up 23 in the last five games. Lawrence was sacked only 18 times in 10 games last season, and the Jaguars are well on a pace to surpass the 32 sacks they gave up last season.

What’s notable about Jaguars vs. Chargers?

The Jaguars will try to put the Houston debacle behind them but will be facing a team that has won its last three games, outscoring opponents by an average of 30-13. … L.A. quarterback Justin Herbert is second in the NFL with 2,610 yards and third with 19 touchdown passes. … The Jaguars are home for the first time in 34 days, since a 20-12 loss to Seattle on Oct. 12. They go back on the road two weeks in a row at Arizona and Tennessee before playing three of their last five games in Jacksonville, beginning on Dec. 7 against Indianapolis.
