Brian Thomas Jr. practice status update

After suffering an ankle injury in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders, Thomas Jr. did not play this past week against Houston.

He did return to practice on Wednesday of this week, however, and was a limited participant in all three practices.

After practicing each day this week in a limited capacity, Thomas Jr. is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Thomas Jr. has showcased that playmaking ability of his this season, but inconsistency has been an issue as well.

He’s averaging 14.0 yards per catch but has caught just 51% of his 59 targets, with dropped passes being a problem at times, according to PFF.

If available, Thomas Jr. will be inserted back into the starting lineup. Joining him will be Jakobi Meyers, whose role should continue to expand, and Parker Washington, who has overtaken Dyami Brown on the depth chart. Brown, Tim Patrick, and Austin Trammell could be rotated in at certain times if needed.
