Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow isn’t ready to return to live action just yet, but what he has been doing in practice still has fans hyped.

In viral footage that keeps making the rounds, Burrow appeared to be doing some really intensive stuff on an injury that was supposedly hailed as one of the trickiest to come back from, especially quickly.

Granted, Burrow had told reporters that he’s experimenting with different sorts of protections within his cleats and seeing what works best for him. That would certainly appear to explain some of the footage.

Regardless, Burrow continues to target a Thanksgiving comeback when the Bengals play the Baltimore Ravens. If not, then just after, provided his body responds well and the team can win a few games without him.

For now, the viral footage and reactions:

I swear I thought with the injury and surgery he had, he was for sure done for the season. Wild.
