Here’s what Adams said about his injury heading into this week’s game against the Seahawks
Rams WR Davante Adams on if he’ll be limited vs. Seattle: “I’ll be same old G out there. It shouldn’t really change anything, it’s just more of like what I can deal, the comfort. Before it was kind of more debilitating. … It’s come a long way.”

Davante Adams isn’t going to miss this game. After playing a lot of meaningless contests the last few years with the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets, he’s not going to let an oblique injury keep him from playing against the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks with first place in the NFC West on the line.
The Los Angeles Rams receiver is questionable for Sunday’s matchup but is expected to play, according to Sean McVay. Adams addressed his oblique injury with the media on Friday, sharing an update on how he’s feeling.
Though it doesn’t sound like he’s 100% healthy, he’s going to push through and get on the field against Seattle. He says the injury “shouldn’t really change anything,” it’s just about managing some pain and discomfort.
Adams left last week’s game early after injuring his oblique and did not return. McVay said he could’ve gone back in if the score was closer, but the Rams were winning comfortably so they didn’t want to risk losing their star receiver.
He’s excited to play such a meaningful game this weekend against the division-leading Seahawks, knowing how much is on the line at this point in the season. A loss drops the Rams to 7-3, while a win propels them into first place and potentially in position to earn the No. 1 seed.
Davante Adams on if he’s excited for Rams-Seahawks after a couple of years on losing teams: “That’s what you play for, for the meaningful games that happen after Halloween or around Thanksgiving time. These are the games that add up and mean the most for playoff implications.”

It’s going to be a battle at SoFi on Sunday and Adams is ready for everything the Seahawks plan to throw at him – oblique injury and all.
