11 weeks into the regular season, the 5-4 Pittsburgh Steelers are looking at a must-win divisional matchup against the 3-6 Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
To keep the Bengals from inching ever closer in the AFC North title race, the Steelers need to lean on these three offensive keys to victory heading into Week 11.
Win third-down battle
The biggest reason why Pittsburgh’s offense fell flat in last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers was largely due to the abysmal third-down conversion rate. Winning the third-down battle may very well determine the outcome of the AFC North matchup — a puzzle the Steelers need to crack in Week 11.
Feed Roman Wilson
Wilson has steadily seen more involvement over the past few weeks, and he may be on the verge of a breakout performance against a poor Bengals defense. With WR Calvin Austin III struggling to make an impact and WR DK Metcalf double-covered more than ever before, Wilson has a massive opportunity in front of him in Week 11.
Get Jaylen Warren more touches
Facing off against one of the worst defenses against the run, the Steelers need to get Warren the football as much as humanly possible. Arguably the best player on Pittsburgh’s offense, Warren could easily eclipse 150 yards in Week 11, giving the Steelers their best shot at defeating the Joe Flacco-led Bengals — who have been scoring points with ease over the past few weeks.
