NFL midterm report card: grading every first-Year head coach
USA TODAY Sports’ Joe Rivera and Chris Bumbaca break down which first-year head coaches are exceeding expectations and who’s falling short.
The Dallas Cowboys are almost back on the clock – the work clock, that is.
Brian Schottenheimer’s team had Week 10 off and is poised for a return to action in Week 11, but they’ll have to wait a little longer before the dynamic duo of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb play their next game.
The team went through a wide range of emotions during their time off the field. There was cause for celebration with the additions of Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson ahead of the trade deadline.
There was also loss, following the tragic passing of 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland. The Cowboys now carry the weight of that loss as the NFL world mourns.
They’ll look to honor their late teammate and hope to bring some change in the world, all while still trying to win football games. It’s a delicate line to walk, but America’s Team is tasked with being exactly that right now.
It might take an extra day, but they’ll have their chance on “Monday Night Football” in Week 11. Here’s what to know about the schedule.
Are the Cowboys playing today?
The Cowboys are not playing on Nov. 16.
Dallas will return to action on Nov. 17 when it visits the Las Vegas Raiders. The “Monday Night Football” contest will be the Cowboys’ first game after their bye week.
