The Chicago Bears will battle the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, where Chicago is looking to win their seventh game in the last eight.
The Bears and Vikings will announce their inactives 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday, or roughly 10:30 a.m. CT. This post will update as more information on player availability is known and official game-day inactives for Week 11 are announced.
The Bears have several players with injury designations ahead of the game, including linebacker T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring), safety Jaquan Brisker (back), wide receiver Jahdae Walker (concussion) and cornerback Jaylon Johnson (groin).
Who are the Bears‘ inactives?Who are the Vikings’ inactives? Will Jaylon Johnson play vs. Vikings?
The Bears opened the 21-day window for cornerback Jaylon Johnson to return from injured reserve, and he practiced for the first time since groin surgery back in September. Johnson missed the entire training camp and preseason with a groin injury before making his season debut in Week 2. Unfortunately, he suffered a new groin injury in the first half. Johnson practiced in limited fashion on Friday and was questionable heading into Sunday’s game. But the Bears ruled Johnson out on Saturday, which doesn’t come as a surprise.
Will Jaquan Brisker suit up in Week 11?
While the Bears won’t have Jaylon Johnson available to them, there’s more encouraging news about safety Jaquan Brisker, who’s been dealing with a back injury. After not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, Brisker returned to practice in limited fashion and is officially questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
Bears rule out T.J. Edwards, Jahdae Walker
The Bears will once again be without one of their top defensive players in linebacker T.J. Edwards, who will miss his second straight game as he deals with hand and hamstring injuries. Edwards had surgery on his hand, and it’s not expected to limit him. It’s the hamstring injury that’s more concerning. With Edwards out, it’ll be Noah Sewell getting the starting nod. Meanwhile, rookie wide receiver Jahdae Walker has been ruled out with a concussion.
