The Los Angeles Rams are hosting the Seattle Seahawks today in a matchup with first place in the NFC West on the line. These seven-win teams are battling it out for the first time this season, and they just happen to be tied atop the division at 7-2.

Considering they’re two of the best teams in the NFL, this is a marquee matchup in Week 11. It unfortunately isn’t in prime time because the league likely didn’t expect them to be tied for first at this point in the season but it should still draw a big audience, nonetheless.

We’ll be providing live updates throughout the game below.

Here are the inactives for both teams today.

The Seahawks’ inactives vs. the Rams:

QB Jalen Milroe
WR Tory Horton (shin)
WR Jake Bobo
OLB Jared Ivey
OLB Connor O’Toole
OL Mason Richman

Milroe is the emergency third QB, so he will dress but can only play if both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock go down.

For today’s Rivalries game, the Rams gave the end zones a special paint job featuring the midnight blue, royal blue and yellow colors.

Midnight Mode at SoFi today. The blue dots on the Rams’ near-black uniforms and the end zones, etc are meant to evoke the perforated roof on this stadium. I’m impressed by how many fans are walking around in the black jersey. pic.twitter.com/6luDHnbnIq

Verse is ready for the Rams’ biggest game of the season, rocking the Rivalries hoodie before kickoff.

Unsurprisingly, Kupp got a warm welcome from his former teammates in Los Angeles, with several running over to hug him after warmups.

Kupp caught up with two of his closest teammates before kickoff, playing catch with Nacua and chatting with Stafford on the field.

The Rams showed a little sneak peek of their new Rivalries uniforms, which will be worn today for the first and last time this season.

Rams 28, Seahawks 24: It’s hard to discern which has been the better team this season because they’ve both had dominant stretches, as well as gut-wrenching losses. The Rams could easily be 9-0 if not for blocked field goals and a goal line fumble, but they are what their record says: 7-2.

In order for the Rams to win today, they must make Sam Darnold uncomfortable. They have to make him hold the football because if he’s getting it out quickly and hitting his first read, the Rams could be in for a long day. If the corners can lock down the receivers for a few seconds and force Darnold to go through his progressions, Jared Verse, Byron Young and the pass rush can get home.

The Rams have the offense to put up points in bunches, as we’ve seen in the last three weeks with them scoring at least 34 points in each one. But this is arguably the best defense they’ve faced all season, with waves of pass rushers being sent at Matthew Stafford. He’s excellent against the blitz, but can he pick apart a defense that rarely sends extra rushers? We’ll bet he can.

Los Angeles will come away with a close, tough win over its rival, taking over first place in the NFC West.
