A left wrist injury forced Aaron Rodgers to miss the second half of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 16.
And it could be even longer.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback suffered the injury late in the first half. Backup QB Mason Rudolph finished the game, leading the Steelers to a 34-12 win.
Here’s the latest on Rodgers’ injury:

The Steelers initially called Rodgers’ injury a “left hand injury” and labeled him questionable to return after halftime. Rudolph took over in the third quarter and Rodgers never returned.
After getting tackled while making a throw on the final series of the first half, Rodgers was seen holding his left hand. That’s where it appears the injury occurred.
Before he left the game, Rodgers completed 9-of-15 passes for 116 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. The Steelers led the Bengals, 10-6, at halftime.
And it was 10-9 when Rudolph entered the game early in the second half.

It’s not known how long Rodgers will be out.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter there’s concerns that Rodgers has a “slight break” in his left wrist. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that X-rays at Acrisure Stadium showed a “slight fracture.”
And Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network wrote on X that Rodgers has told “people close to him that he’ll be back soon.”
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said in his post-game press conference that Rodgers will be evaluated on Monday morning.

If Rodgers misses the next game, it would be tough blow for him personally.
The Steelers play at Soldier Field, a favorite venue of Rodgers over the years.
Rodgers, of course, famously once told the Chicago fans while playing for the Packers that he owns them.
Is Aaron Rodgers left or right handed?
Aaron Rodgers is right-handed.
Rodgers played through a broken right thumb while with the Packers during the 2022 season.
Aaron Rodgers stats 2025

Rodgers has alluded to this season being his final year of his Hall of Fame career.
AFC North standings
If Rodgers misses time that will certainly hurt the Steelers in their quest to win the AFC North. The Steelers have a one-game lead on the surging Baltimore Ravens for the division lead.
The two teams still play each other twice with the first game coming Dec. 7 and the second in the regular-season finale on Jan. 4.
