Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young was so fresh, but not entirely clean coming out of his career performance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this weekend.

Young injured his ankle on two separate occasions in yesterday’s wild 30-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Although he ultimately did not miss a single offensive snap, the third-year passer was clearly dealing with pain throughout much of the trying battle.

Head coach Dave Canales was asked for an update regarding Young on Monday.

“We’ll do the full evaluation and we’ll have the updates out on Thursday,” he replied.

Canales, when pressed again, would reiterate that they’ll provide additional information on Thursday.

Young finished having completed 31 of his 45 throws for a franchise-record 448 yards and three touchdowns. He also recorded his 10th career game-winning drive, the most of any quarterback since Young entered the league in 2023.

The former No. 1 overall pick has already missed an outing this season due to an ankle injury. That one-game absence gave way to veteran backup Andy Dalton, who quarterbacked a 40-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills back in Week 9.

Carolina will have an extra day to recover here in Week 12, as they’re set to match up against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.
