The Titans are banged up at receiver, with Calvin Ridley and Bryce Oliver being placed on Injured Reserve in the past week. Receiver Elic Ayomanor is also injured, and he did not practice Wednesday because of a hamstring injury.
Van Jefferson, James Proche II, Mason Kinsey and Dike are the only healthy receivers on the roster. Dike is dealing with a chest contusion, but he practiced in full.
What it means for Restrepo remains to be seen, but he could be activated for Sunday’s game for the first time this season as a gameday elevation.
Restrepo signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent after playing in college at Miami with Cam Ward.
“I have been preparing my whole life for this opportunity,” Restrepo said. “Just because things haven’t gone exactly the way I wanted, they went the exact way I needed. I am super-prepared, my physical, mental, spiritual, I’m all there.”
