The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Tennessee Titans this Sunday in an effort to wash away the bad taste left in everyone’s mouths from the narrow loss to the Rams. The Titans represent the ultimate “get right” game for the Seahawks, as they are inarguably the worst team in the league.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Seahawks announced their uniforms for Week 12, and it’s one I have consistently been rather negative about. For the second time this year, Seattle will wear the white jersey/gray pants combo. The Seahawks wore this look in Week 2 with their 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Overall, the Seattle Seahawks are 6-10 in this combo all-time. This is by far their least successful look, but they did manage to go 2-0 in this combo last year. Sunday will mark the third time in the last four years the Seahawks have worn this particular uniform twice in one season.

Although I am not a fan of this look, from both an aesthetic and superstitious perspective, I also recognize this is probably the best option when considering the overall uniform matchup versus Tennessee.

The Titans’ standard home look is navy helmet, powder blue jersey, white pants. Should Tennessee decide to rock with this again, or add in navy pants or go with an all-navy or all-powder blue look, the Seahawks will remain in stark contrast. Much better than in 2023 when the Seahawks had their navy pants against the Titans’ all-navy look. Contrast is key, my friends!
