Check out the Jaguars’ first injury report of the week.
The Jacksonville Jaguars opened their practice week on Wednesday in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals and released their first injury report of the week.
The Jaguars listed 16 players on their report, with two not practicing and the remainder limited. Ten are starters.
However, Wednesday’s practice was described as a light one.
Said defensive end Josh Hines-Allen, “Coach (Liam) Coen took care of us.  He took care of our bodies. We’ll come out tomorrow and fly around. That’s a plus. Today was very focused. Guys are locked in, communicating. Guys are doing what they’re supposed to do. That’s a good start to the week.”
Of the 13 players listed for the Cardinals, eight did not practice, and five were limited.

On offense, Thomas, Harrison and Long were inactive against the Chargers. Tim Patrick got the start at wideout and played 41 snaps (58 percent), catching three passes for 20 yards. Cole Van Lanen played all 71 snaps at right tackle. Tight end Quintin Morris played 50 snaps (70 percent).
On defense, Jones played 96 percent of the snaps Sunday with Lewis inactive. Lewis’ return to practice was his first since being injured in Week 9 against the Raiders. Newsome played only six snaps against the Chargers.
