The San Francisco 49ers on Thursday opened their Week 12 practices with a bit of good news.

With a Monday Night Football game vs. the Carolina Panthers looming, San Francisco’s schedule was moved back a day where Thursday was the first practice of the week, which meant the release of their first practice participation report of the week.

Two things stood out from the report and both things were positive health updates for the 49ers.

Quarterback Brock Purdy is still on the report, but he was listed as a full participant after returning in Week 11 from a toe injury that has hampered him since Week 1. There’s a chance Purdy is on the practice report for the rest of the year given the nature of the injury. Avoiding setbacks is the key for him, though, and a full participation to open Week 12 is a sign there weren’t any lingering problems after his Week 11 outing.

The second bit of good news is wide receiver Ricky Pearsall getting a full participation after returning in Week 11 from a knee injury that kept him on the sidelines for six weeks. He wasn’t super active in the passing game with only three targets in his first game back, but he didn’t have any setbacks after playing 41 snaps.

Here’s the full practice report:
