Lane Kiffin to Florida football? Jaguars with back-to-back blowouts?

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ record after blowout wins isn’t great. Plus, thoughts on Lane Kiffin and the Florida Gators coaching search.

The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to prep for their Week 12 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals with a slew of injuries to get a grip on.

Last week, the team missed five starters or key contributors due to various injuries. Those who missed include receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle), right tackle Anton Harrison (knee/ankle), cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck) and tight ends Brenton Strange (hip) and Hunter Long (hip/knee).

While Jacksonville continues to get healthy with all of those players returning to or continuing to practice on Wednesday this week, the team still has plenty of other ailments to tend to.

One injury that’s worth following this week is to running back Travis Etienne, who sported an orange non-contact jersey in practice Thursday while dealing with a shoulder injury. Etienne was listed as limited on Wednesday. Rookie RB Bhayshul Tuten is dealing with an ankle injury sustained against the Chargers last week and was limited on Wednesday.

Defensively, Jacksonville is working through a few injuries with defensive end Travon Walker (knee) missing back-to-back practices, while cornerback Jarrian Jones was again limited in Thursday’s practice due to a quadricep injury.

Here’s Jacksonville’s latest injury news ahead of their Week 12 game against the Cardinals.
