The New York Jets will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12 on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

For this AFC battle between Aaron Glenn’s Jets (2-8) and John Harbaugh’s Ravens (5-5), it will be the games, within the game, that will make all the difference.

Here are Jets Wire’s three key matchups to watch during the Jets’ matchup with the Ravens:

CB Jarvis Brownlee vs. WR DeAndre Hopkins

Hopkins moves inside and out of the Ravens offense and Brownlee should see plenty of him.

Zay Flowers is far-and-away the Ravens’ top receiver, but Browlee has struggled. This looks like a game that either Hopkins will star or Brownlee will emerge.

Fingers crossed for Brownlee.

LB Jamien Sherwood vs. RB Derrick Henry

It’s not all on Sherwood to stop Henry and the Ravens’ rushing attack with Henry. But he is the quarterback of the Jets defense, so he needs to do everything he can as the play caller to make sure Henry doesn’t have a huge game.

WR AD Mitchell vs. CB Nate Wiggins

With Tyrod Taylor starting at quarterback, someone needs to be his No. 1. In Week 3 during his only start in 2025, a 29-27 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he relied on star wideout Garrett Wilson heavily.

Wilson had 10 catches on 13 targets for 83 yards.

This could be Mitchell’s time to prove doubters wrong.
