The New Orleans Saints have been making some big moves recently when it comes to the international market. With a potential matchup in France during the 2026 season, they are looking to continue to build off of an exciting partnership between themselves and the Paris Musketeers of the ELF. After Demario Davis served as a liaison between the two on his trip to France recently, the favor will be returned seemingly in Week 12.
In a recent post from the Musketeers’ official account, they noted that, to some degree, the team has crossed the Atlantic Ocean to join the Saints for their Week 12 matchup. It is unclear at this time who the liaison is, or if a multitude of the team members ended up making the trip. Regardless, they have put their best foot forward once again, and the franchise, led by former Saints coach and player Jack Del Rio, will continue to build on this partnership.
In the recent social media post from the Musketeers, they said the following, which has been translated from French:
“Guess who just set foot in New Orleans…? The Musketeers have crossed the Atlantic to join the @Saints. A bit of jazz, a bit of strategy, a lot of football… and Parisian elegance in the land of gumbo. An alliance that will change the future of European football.”
It will be exciting to have them here for a rivalry matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, and with that, potentially, maybe there is an announcement coming between the two sides regarding the matchup in France next season.
