The Indianapolis Colts (8-2) and Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) meet Sunday for a Week 12 game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Colts vs. Chiefs odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Colts lead the all-time series 18-10, including a 20-17 win at home in the most recent meeting in 2022. Indianapolis also won its last visit to Kansas City, posting a 19-13 victory in 2019. The last win for the Chiefs against the Colts was a 31-13 victory in an AFC Wild Card playoff game in Kansas City on Jan. 12, 2019.
Indy is coming off a 31-25 victory in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin in Week 10, pushing at most shops as a 6-point favorite as the Over (48.5) cashed. RB Jonathan Taylor thrashed the Falcons for 244 rushing yards and 3 more TDs, including an 83-yard scamper for score. The Over is 4-1 in the past 5 games.
The Chiefs will be happy to be back home after suffering a 22-19 loss at the Denver Broncos in Week 11, failing as a 4.5-point favorite as the Under (45) cashed. QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 276 yards and a TD strike to TE Travis Kelce. Kansas City has lost and failed to cover the past 2 outings, while the Under has cashed in 5 in a row.

The Chiefs (-185) will cost you nearly 2 times your potential return, and that’s a little too pricey for a standalone wager. However, if you were to use a boost or promo, or perhaps a no-sweat bet, that would be perfect OK. And, including Kansas City as part of a multi-leg parlay is quite all right, too.
PASS, and look to the spread instead.
Back the CHIEFS -3.5 (-102) laying the points at home. Kansas City has been championship-caliber for a long time, and we’ll see that championship mettle tested Sunday. It is a bit overplayed in sports, but this is truly a “must-win” game. The Chiefs cannot afford to slip a game under .500 heading into the final week of November, and it cannot take another loss to an AFC team in the playoff picture.
UNDER 49.5 (-110) is the way to go in this Week 12 AFC showdown.
The Under is on a 5-game run for the Chiefs, allowing 17 or fewer points in 3 of the past 5 games. The Chiefs are allowing 14.8 points per game in that 5-game span. The Chiefs are middle of the road in rushing defense, allowing exactly 1,000 rushing yards this season, and 4.2 yards per carry. However, Kansas City has allowed just 1 run of 20+ yards, so Taylor and the Colts might not be able to put up quick scores like they’ve done in recent weeks.
