The Tennessee Titans have made a couple of roster moves ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, including one that should spark some excitement on social media.Â
The Titans activated running back Kalel Mullings from injured reserve, making the rookie running back eligible to play against the Seahawks. The rookie running back has been sidelined for the majority of the season after initially injuring his ankle during the preseason.Â
While he did see action in the opener, he tweaked the ankle against the Denver Broncos and has been sidelined since. Tennessee selected Mullings to add a power dimension and change-of-pace to their backfield, and may finally be able to utilize his skill set to help their struggling offense.Â
After activating Mullings, the Titans announced that they were using a standard elevation to make wide receiver Xavier Restrepo eligible for Sunday’s contest against the Seahawks. Tennessee was set to enter the contest with limited depth in its receiving corps, having only Van Jefferson, Chimere Dike, Mason Kinsey, and James Proche available, underscoring the need for receiver depth.Â
This will be Restrepo’s first elevation, and one that fans have been clamoring for in recent weeks. Now, Restrepo will make his NFL debut next to his college quarterback, and Titans’ fans hope their chemistry will give the offense a spark against a stout Seahawks defense on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.Â
