NEW ORLEANS — Former BYU quarterback Taysom Hill showed some love to Utah in week 12, showing up to New Orleans’ game against Atlanta in a Mammoth NHL sweater.
Hill donned the black sweater with ‘UTAH’ across the front as he walked through the tunnel.

The Saints went on to lose to the Falcons, 24-10.
Hill finished with 17 rushing yards on 10 carries and also threw two passes. He also recovered a fumble.
After returning in week four from his injury last season, Hill’s reinstatement into the offense has been a slow burn. In seven games played this season, he has 19 yards passing, 69 yards rushing, 18 yards receiving, and one rushing TD.
About Taysom Hill
Prior to his NFL career, the Idaho native was a quarterback at BYU. Hill played for the Cougars from 2012-16.
During his college career, Hill threw for 6,929 yards, 43 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions. He ran for 2,815 yards and 32 touchdowns.
After going undrafted, Hill signed a free-agent deal with the Green Bay Packers. Before the regular season, Hill was waived by the Packers and picked up by the Saints. Since then, Hill has become a key piece of New Orleans’ offense.

During his NFL career, Hill has played multiple positions, including quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.
In 2024, Hill played in eight games before going down with a season-ending injury. In those eight games, he had 187 receiving yards, 278 rushing yards, and also dropped back to completed two of four passing attempts. He had six touchdowns on the season, all of which came on the ground.
He’s scored 45 touchdowns during his NFL career.
