The NFL released its 2025 season schedule on Wednesday evening in a league-wide coordinated event. The Seattle Seahawks will play nine contests on the road, possessing the road-game disadvantage this year in an uneven 17-game season. Having analyzed the upcoming schedule, we’ve ranked the Seahawks’ nine road games easiest to hardest.

Tennessee Titans (Week 12)

The Tennessee Titans had the No. 1 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward could make the Titans a sneaky-improved team, but until proven otherwise, they are considered one of the softer opponents on Seattle’s overall schedule.

Carolina Panthers (Week 17)

The Carolina Panthers are 7-27 over the previous two seasons. The upcoming campaign is critical for former No. 1 overall quarterback Bryce Young and second-year head coach Dave Canales. Canales worked for the Seahawks from 2010 to 2022, so there’s a sidebar storyline here.

Jacksonville Jaguars (Week 6)

Will new Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen salvage Trevor Lawrence as a franchise quarterback? Coen is extremely inexperienced, so his appointment carries a high-risk, high-reward outcome. The Seahawks should be comfortable favorites in Week 6.

Arizona Cardinals (Week 4)

The Seahawks have dominated the Arizona Cardinals in recent memory, sweeping the regular-season series last year. Seattle won 16-6 at Lumen Field in 2024. The Cardinals took another step forward in their rebuild this offseason, so expect the two-game series to provide a quality measuring stick.

Atlanta Falcons (Week 14)

Sophomore quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is now the unquestioned starter in Atlanta. The Seahawks probably wish this contest was scheduled earlier in the year, when Penix Jr. will still be growing into his role. Like the Seahawks, the Falcons have postseason aspirations in 2025.

Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 2)

Seattle’s Week 2 date with the Steelers is Pittsburgh’s home opener. That’s always difficult for the road team. Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf will dominate headlines that week as he prepares to face the Seahawks, who traded him away in the offseason following a messy contract dispute.

San Francisco 49ers (Week 18)

The Seahawks finally defeated the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium last year, winning 20-17 on a Geno Smith last-minute rushing touchdown. Like the Seahawks, Kyle Shanahan’s club underwent notable changes in the offseason. This Week 18 finale could decide the NFC West.

Los Angeles Rams (Week 11)

Last year, the Seahawks’ trip to SoFi stadium occurred in Week 18. The division was unfortunately decided at that point, with the Rams having already clinched the NFC West. This campaign, the Seahawks will possess an opportunity to gain an earlier advantage in Week 11 at L.A.

Washington Commanders (Week 9)

The Washington Commanders shocked the nation by qualifying for the NFC West Championship Game last season. The league is buying into the Commanders’ hype, giving them five traditional primetime (and eight standalone) games this year. The Seahawks’ showdown with Jayden Daniels is scheduled for Sunday Night Football in Week 9.
