Kellen Moore doesn’t seem to be on the hot seat, but New Orleans Saints fans are certainly tired of him.

The Saints revealed Monday they’re bringing in All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker for a tryout. The former Baltimore Ravens star was investigated by the NFL for sexual misconduct. It was previously reported by the Baltimore Banner that 16 massage therapists accused him of sexual misconduct from 2012-16. He has denied those allegations, but he was suspended 10 games by the NFL.

During this afternoon’s media availability, Moore addressed the team’s interest in Tucker despite the off-field allegations.

“He’s been one of their leaders for an extended period of time on a very successful team,” Moore told reporters. “Obviously, there’s been some stuff that’s been unfortunate. He’s gone through an experience and I think it’s about collecting what that experience was, and we’ll evaluate the football aspect of it and we’ll evaluate everything else as well.”

Let’s just say those comments from Moore didn’t go over well with the fans in New Orleans. It also doesn’t help that he’s coming off one of his worst coaching performances of the season.

Losing faith in NOLA.

Judging by the reactions online, Saints fans have lost confidence in Moore just 11 games into his tenure.

“True 36 hour disaster class from Kellen Moore my god,” a Saints fan wrote on X.

“I’m sure if you had a camera on Moore he would regret how this came out. But this was as predictable as it gets the minute the news was dropped. He has no idea how to handle this type of stuff,” a second fan commented. “Which is why he just isn’t suited to the role of NFL head coach.”

“A complete embarrassment of an organization top to bottom every chance they get,” a third fan declared.

“Here’s the thing, once the Saints brought Tucker in for try out there’s nothing Kellen can say that will make it ok or not get ripped to shreds,” another fan said. “Downplay it, he’s insensitive. Say Tucker is accused of horrible horrible stuff? Then why’d you try him out? It’s why this isn’t worth it. There’s no good outcome with Tucker on your squad.”

It’s certainly possible Moore wins over the fans by getting better results on the field. Make no mistake though, he’s not a fan favorite right now.
