NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A lucky Mt. Juliet fifth-grader had the opportunity to stand next to Tennessee Titans captains during the coin toss at last week’s game.
Ben Gliko, 10, got the opportunity to be on the field after winning the Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee’s annual Tennessee Titans Kids Captain Contest. The contest for fans ages 6 to 12 gives winners “four lower-bowl tickets, a parking pass, red Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee cap, an official Titans Jersey, and most notably, the rare chance to step onto the field as an honorary captain. ”

Ben’s mom Ashley Gliko said her son was grateful to get on the field and witness a coin toss. The Mt. Juliet boy is a sports fan and loves to collect memorabilia like cards, jerseys and autographs.
“It’s not every day a young fan gets to be with the team on the field, and we are proud to help create memories like these for local families,” said Chase Baker, a Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee agent and agency manager in the Mt. Juliet area.
Kids still have a chance to be a part of the special experience like Ben.
Farm Bureau Insurance will select three more kids for the December 21 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs and the December 28 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Applications for the Kansas City game can be submitted here. More information on the contest can be found here.
