Packers DE Micah Parsons on the play of the defense against Vikings
Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons collected two sacks against the Vikings, marking his fifth consecutive season with double-digit sacks.
Green Bay Packers fans watching the Nov. 23 game against the Minnesota Vikings on Fox had a right to be confused. So did Vikings fans.
Early in the fourth quarter, the Fox broadcast flashed a graphic that showed Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons’ stats, but in Vikings purple, with a photo of a No. 1 in a Vikings uniform.
While Parsons does indeed wear No. 1, that wasn’t him, of course, in the photo. It was Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor.
While it might have seemed like a Freaky Friday situation, it was more of a Slip-Up Sunday.
As expected, social media commenters weighed in — once they realized they actually saw what they thought they saw:
