Thanksgiving weekend, with plenty of football, is even more fun when you’re sweating out your Survivor pool.

If you’re alive right now, you’re a Houdini-like figure who has avoided the big upsets for a chance to cash in big.

Last week, the Raiders, Saints and Bills were the biggest losers for Survivor players, with 39 players eliminated from the $15 million Circa Survivor pool.

Nine-hundred players are remaining in that tournament for this massive prize pool, and you might be looking to a little research to help you land the plane on another winner in Week 13.

Falcons -2.5 @ Jets

I am not afraid to back the Falcons here despite the spread being just 2.5 points, and it’s the same reason that I loved the Falcons +2 last week against the Saints.

Atlanta comes in this week with Kirk Cousins, who I actually view as an upgrade to Michael Penix, and its litany of playmakers.

Drake London could very well be absent but there’s also a chance that he plays, which lends me some reason to believe that the spread will move up a tick.

The Jets are getting plenty of love for being frisky against the Ravens, but let’s call a spade a spade; Lamar Jackson is not the same quarterback he has been in years past.

Gang Green isn’t any good, and the Falcons are all-in this year despite a terrible 4-7 record.

If you need a low-level play, because you used all of the top teams this week, you could do worse than the Falcons in Week 13.

Betting on the NFL?

Seahawks (-10.5) @ Vikings

My model actually has the Seahawks favored by 15 points here, so not only is there value on the Seahawks but I suspect that they smash the Vikings at home.

It sounds like J.J. McCarthy won’t play for the Vikings, which would probably be a positive for the Vikings, considering the second-year quarterback threw two interceptions last week.

Seattle is rated No. 2 in the NFL in DVOA, while the Vikings are in the dumpster at No. 25.

Max Brosmer is looking likely to start and whether he’s an upgrade remains to be seen, but Seattle’s defense leads the NFL in takeaways.

Fair to expect that if the Vikings fall behind this one could get ugly for a sweatless Sunday.
