SAGINAW CO., Mich. (WNEM) – The United Way of Saginaw County and Victorious Believers Ministries Church of God in Christ teamed up with the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to give out food Tuesday morning.
The groups received a special donation from the Detroit Lions.
“The Detroit Lions, they donated 250 turkeys and prepacked food for everyone to enjoy, we served so far over 400 people,” said Tracy Waters from Victorious Believers Ministries.
The United Way of Saginaw County is also helping with a weekend walk thru food giveaway at Old Town Christian Outreach. The giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29 at 10 a.m.
