NFL Week 12 overreactions: Chiefs stay alive, Cowboys shock Eagles

USA TODAY Sports’ Prince Grimes ‘overreacts’ to some of the best games from Sunday’s Week 12 slate.

Fantasy football managers are gearing up for the final playoff push with the arrival of Week 13.

One of the sneakiest ways to get an advantage in your matchup is locking in the best defense and special teams unit.

Week 13 is bountiful with matchups to exploit for fantasy managers who are battling for playoff berths. There are no byes during the league’s annual Thanksgiving slate. There will be three games on the holiday and one on Black Friday before concluding the week with an 11-game Sunday slate ahead of “Monday Night Football.”

The Seattle Seahawks have the juicest matchup with J.J. McCarthy in concussion protocol, which would make Minnesota an obvious offense to target if backup Max Brosmer gets the start. While the San Francisco 49ers will play a Shedeur Sanders-led Cleveland Browns offense.

Here’s a look at the best defense/special teams units fantasy managers can target for Week 13 lineups.
