At home on Thanksgiving, I’ll go with the team that has been more consistent of late, despite nearly losing to the Jameis Winston-led Giants.
Blake Schuster: Green Bay Packers (+2.5)
Ok, NOW it’s Toyotathon. And the Packers will spoil Thanksgiving in Detroit once again (against the spread, at least).
Jordan Mendoza: Detroit Lions (-2.5)
Green Bay’s offense has been real inconsistent recently. It should look better against Detroit, but it doesn’t feel like the Packers can beat the Lions twice this season.
Lorenzo Reyes: Green Bay Packers (+2.5)
The Lions have been solid, if unspectacular, in recent weeks. And while Green Bay has been inconsistent, a divisional game on Thanksgiving, given the short week, should be tight. I could see the Packers pulling off the upset. Either way, I think the over is the play here.
Richard Morin: Detroit Lions (-2.5)
Detroit has been a bit more trustworthy against the spread this season. Needing only a field goal at home, we’ll back the Lions.
