How does Jacoby Brissett’s leadership help you move forward week by week?
You know, he’s been exceptional.
Uh, he’s a pro’s pro.
Uh, he understands the game; he understands the business.
He understands where we’re at right now, you know.
Um, you know, every team has injuries, and things of that nature, that are, Uh, hampering their ability to be the team they all want to be.
Uh, but you have to follow.
A way to still perform.
And I think, you know, Jacoby has done a great job just putting us in, In a great position to win games.
Our defense did a phenomenal job this Weekend: 4 turnovers, um, you know, 1 turnover that led to a touchdown.

You know, gave us short fields a number of times, and we just didn’t deliver.
So, um, it’s a team game, but, you know, I would say from an offensive perspective, There’s still a lot that we left out there on the field.
Yeah, he had so many, like, wow moments.
The Greg Dortch touchdown there, Walter Nolan, who’s finally on the field, wreaking havoc seemingly every week.
He had all those great moments, those highlights reel moments.
And then you can’t close it out.
I want to stress the question about Jacoby was not a loaded question.
I’m not trying to compare Jacoby with Kyler, but at the same time, Like, I don’t know Jacoby.

I’ve shaken his hand once.
I can’t pretend to know him.
Kelvin, I know so many people who, when his name comes up, Guys who have either coached him or played with him at many stops throughout the league That go, holy bleep, he’s one of my top favorite humans I’ve ever met.
He is one of the few guys I’ve come across in contact with, purposefully.
And intentionally gets to know his teammates.
Full stop.
Um, from training camp until now, He’s always finding time to spend time, uh, with his teammates.
And I think that goes a long way.
You know, I think in this game, Relationships matter.
You can just tell they really matter to him.

Um, he’s been around.
You know, the National Football League for some time, but you can just tell.
Um, anybody who stays after meetings on Saturday nights and just hangs out, Uh, in the cafeteria.
Hes a pros pro.
Hes a guys guy.
Um, you know, he got on me last week, because I had a community event, and I didn’t invite him.
Go to it.
I’m like, it was on Teamworks.
I’m like, you know, which app do we use?
I’m like, It was known for everybody to come.
She said, “Well, you didn’t invite me,” and you didn’t tell me about it.
So, you know, he wants to be involved with teammates.
He wants to build real, meaningful relationships as a human, Um, that’s something that you value, and you can see that guys are willing to play for him.

That regard.
Kelvin’s Big Adventure map.
It is a children’s book.
You are, by the way, on your way to a community event right now.
But let’s, let’s do the book first.
Why is writing a kids’ book so important to you?
You know, the thing is, I have three kids, which is always fun.
I just had birthdays last week, so I have 11.
9 and 6.
Uh, two girls, one boy.
Uh, they’re both, well, all three of them, are in the book.
Uh, at different moments.
Um, but I wanted to do something where you know, I got to be able to.
To check off a couple of different boxes in my life.
One, being an author, which is pretty cool.
Uh, two, being able to give those proceeds back to the community.

Uh, so every book that’s sold, every download that’s sold, Um, that money goes back to DonorsChoose, which is an organization that I’ve worked with for Years on the educational front.
Um, and then, too, I mean, and lastly, just being able to, You know, just talk about some of my passions, and some of my passions are: are really present throughout the entire book, um.
Just the ability to want to be curious, the ability to want to go and discover and Experiment, so, you know, talk about traveling to, uh, Hong Kong, you know, I have this piece, um, you know, toward the end of the book where I talk About my, my, my love for art.
So all those things are interwoven throughout.
This book really just highlights, you know, curiosity and the, And the ability and desire to experiment and discover.
