The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats were victorious on Saturday, Nov. 22, defeating longtime rivals Florida A&M University (FAMU) Rattlers 38-34 during the annual game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
The Wildcats finish the season with a winning record in the Southwestern Ath- letic Conference (SWAC) for the first time and gained Florida Classic bragging rights over the next year.
“It feels great to win. I am really excited for the program. I am proud of these players. We finished the game today. I am excited for them. It’s great for the school, fans and community,” Raymond Woodie, Jr., B-CU’s head coach said after the thrilling game that had an attendance of 55,528.
