GLENDALE – It was a scary sight two weeks ago for Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who had a 2am hospital visit for his appendicitis. Harrison on hospital visit for appendicitis:
Head coach Jonathan Gannon spoke to the media on Friday about sharing a laugh with Harrison about getting this all-class wide receiver his wind back. Gannon has been impressed with how he’s been moving in recent practice but wouldn’t commit to Harrison making a possible return in Week 13 vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Arizona’s offense has sensational in the pass game, averaging 40 completion the past two weeks. Harrison and Gannon echoed the importance of having everyone healthy. For the 23-year-old, he’s ready to rejoin an offense that has major developments since his surgery.

Wide receiver Michael Wilson had recorded 25 catches for 303 receiving yards in Harrison’s absence, with fans worried about the third-year Cardinals’ production being diminished. However, Harrison stated that he’s been playing with great receivers his whole life, and him returning to the lineup won’t effect him or Wilson’s numbers.
It’s hard to make a case for Arizona having too many weapons when it is the 19th scoring offense in the NFL. Harrison’s return is desperately needed to put points on the board and end the team’s three-game losing streak.
