Unfortunately for NFL fans, Week 13 doesn’t exactly include a must-see matchup for “Sunday Night Football.”

Week 13 kicked off with a trio of games on Thanksgiving. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Detroit Lions on the road, the Dallas Cowboys flexed their muscles at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Joe Burrow returned to help the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens.

While this week’s slate of games isn’t exactly that appealing, the NFL is always bound to have an upset or two each Sunday. Nonetheless, fans aren’t looking forward to NBC’s prime-time game.

The Denver Broncos (9-2) will travel to Maryland this Sunday to take on the Washington Commanders (3-8). On paper, that’s not exactly a great matchup. To make matters worse, Jayden Daniels is still sidelined due to an elbow injury. That means Marcus Mariota will make his sixth start of the season.

Both teams are coming off bye weeks, so Sean Payton and Dan Quinn should have their players ready to go. Make no mistake though, Denver should enter this game with much more confidence. The Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs two weeks ago thanks to an epic drive from Bo Nix. The defense also played a pivotal role, sacking Patrick Mahomes three times and holding him to just one touchdown.

As for the Commanders, they’re coming off an overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins. They did find success on the ground though with Chris Rodriguez, who had 79 yards on 15 carries.

Fans frustrated with this matchup.

“They should’ve flexed this game out,” a fan wrote on social media.

“I’m not watching this game,” a second fan said.

“This is so bad,” an Instagram user commented. “No Jayden Daniels means the Broncos should win easily.”

“Get Washington out of prime time please,” another fan said.

Hopefully, the Broncos and Commanders will put on a show this Sunday night.

Luckily for NFL fans, the Week 14 matchup for “Sunday Night Football” is much more appealing. We’ll get to see the Chiefs and Texans square off in what’ll be a must-win game for both teams, especially since they’re fighting for a Wild Card spot.
