PFF selected one Jacksonville Jaguars’ undrafted rookie to watch for this summer.

Who is one undrafted free agent for the Jacksonville Jaguars to keep your eyes on this summer?

Ben Cooper of Pro Football Focus recently highlighted one UDFA from each of the 32 teams to watch for, and when it came to the Jaguars, he selected Duke wide receiver Eli Pancol.

“Pancol broke out in 2024 with nine receiving touchdowns, 800 receiving yards and just two drops on 89 targets,” wrote Cooper. “He was particularly potent in the short area of the field (0-9 yards), racking up 349 of his receiving yards. Jacksonville’s wide receiver depth chart is wide open at the back end, and Pancol may be a worthy roster candidate.”

After missing the 2023 season due to injury, Pancol was a huge part of the Duke passing game in 2024, catching 67% of his 89 targets for 800 yards (13.3 YPC) with nine touchdowns.

The bulk of his targets came within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, according to PFF, where he was very effective at picking up YAC. Also of note, Pancol has steadily graded out as a solid run blocker by PFF’s metrics.

An important part of the equation for any UDFA when it comes to making a roster push is that there has to be room at their position group.

When it comes to the receiver position for the Jaguars, the top four spots on the depth chart are accounted for, but beyond that, there is now a spot or two potentially up for grabs, depending on how many receivers are kept on the 53-man roster.
