11:00 a.m. — After missing the last six games with a concussion and knee injury, the Cowboys should be getting CB Trevon Diggs back for next Thursday’s road game against the Detroit Lions, according to Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones.
“He’ll be on the field, wanted to be on the field last night, but he’ll be on the field at Detroit in my view barring an [setback].” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan Friday morning.
Diggs is currently on injured reserve, so he’ll need to be activated and return to the active roster which while require a corresponding move. His return comes at a good time for Dallas, who has won three straight games and has seen injuries recently at cornerback to Caelen Carson, who missed Thursday’s game against Kansas City, and DaRon Bland, who missed some time in the second half with a foot injury but later returned.
