Pittsburgh quarterback Aaron Rodgers dropped back to pass on a play-action fake. While navigating through the pocket, Rodgers did not anticipate pressure from behind.
That’s when Bills pass rusher Joey Bosa crushed the veteran quarterback.
Rodgers fumbled the ball. Buffalo cornerback Christian Benford scooped up the ball and ran for a 17-yard touchdown. The score gave Buffalo its first touchdown of the game and its first lead in the contest.
Rodgers would miss time on the next drive due to a nose injury. Mason Rudolph took the helm for the Steelers, misfiring on three passes. He overthrew his target on the final toss, and Benford intercepted the pass.
