As reported by 247Sports late Tuesday night, Michigan Football is set to lose reserve veteran offensive lineman Connor Jones to the transfer portal once it opens up on Jan. 2.
The senior played in three total games the previous three years combined before playing in 10 games this season, with two of them coming on the offensive line in blowout wins over Central Michigan and Maryland. During his time at Michigan, Jones has played snaps at right guard and right tackle.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Jones will have one year of eligibility remaining wherever he ends up.
We wish Jones nothing but the best, and hopefully he is able to find immediate playing time.
