The Atlanta Falcons will kick off practice without wide receiver Drake London, head coach Raheem Morris told reporters on Wednesday. London is considered day-to-day due to a knee injury that has kept him out for the last two games.

Morris said that while London won’t technically practice, he will still do some work on the side as he looks to potentially return before Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

“Drake will be out of practice today, but he’s still in a day-to-day format, so we’ll kind of check him out,” said Morris. “He’ll do some running stuff on the side, but he won’t be doing practice stuff today.”

London has racked up 60 catches for 810 receiving yards and six touchdowns in nine games this season. If the former top-10 pick can’t go Sunday, Darnell Mooney, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson will attempt to carry the load against the Seahawks.

“When he’s ready to go, Drake will be out there playing at a high level,” said Morris. “The connection with his guys he values very much. He’s at every single meeting, doing every single thing.”
